Another day another flood
You would think we would have learned a lesson by now, don’t use the Mopar cover! The weather in North Western Arkansas changes by the minute and a beautiful sunny day can turn into a thunderstorm with tornado warnings in the blink of an eye.
Thursday it was beautiful out, I reconfigured the Spider Web to spend some time in the sun and had a wonderful day. I put the Mopar cover on that night because there was no rain predicted. I woke up Friday morning and it was overcast but no rain. It started sprinkling a little bit and it dawned on me that I needed to put the top up. In the three minutes between that decision and me getting dressed the downpour started. I ran out to the Jeep, took the Mopar cover off and there was an inch of water standing on the passenger side floor and the seat was soaked. It had been raining less than five minutes! I don’t know what they were thinking when they put this on the market, it has no practical use. Why do I need a cover that is only good during dry top down conditions? Read my full review and then do yourself a favor, don’t buy it.
I’m about to purchase a Bestop All Weather Trail Cover. It has great reviews and its expensive so it has to be good, doesn’t it?
Does anyone know a good use for the Mopar cover? The only satisfaction I think I’ll get out of this product is taking it out the back, throwing it in the fire pit and watching it burn. When I do burn it I’ll be sure to post pictures
