Author: Spring has sprung, the top on the Jeep has been down for nearly a week. We’ve realized that with my husband working from home and us now having a garage we should be able to keep the top down all summer. I won’t miss taking it down and putting it up multiple times a week!
The change in the weather has made us change our focus from the inside of the house to the outside. We had a shrub by the driveway that was annoying us so we decided the easiest and most fun way to remove it was to loop our tow strap around it and yank it out with the Jeep. It took less than five minutes and best of all saved me from having to dig it out.

I’m just about to upgrade my membership. I’m a member of numerous forums and I’ve always been impressed with how active the Jeep Forum is. There are currently over 1300 entries in their giveaway and that’s only the premium members. I imagine they have a lot of non-paying members like myself.

We were really busy leading up to my husband’s birthday and he ended up with a store bought cake despite my plans to attempt and make him one. I hate to admit this but I have never baked a birthday cake. My daughter was recently diagnosed with food allergies to eggs and milk so for her birthday I will have to put on an apron and make one. I thought making a Jeep cake could be fun to try so I Googled “Jeep Cake Pan” and sure enough you can buy them on Ebay. I’ve got 5 months to practice and try to make something edible; I feel sorry for my poor family having to be the tasting guinea pigs.
In my travels over the Internet to get my Jeep fix I came across a list of 50 things to do in your Jeep before its too late. I haven’t knocked near enough off that list for my liking, come October we’re going to start fixing that!
