I ordered a Bestop Extendatrunk from Jeep Parts 4 less because they were $80 cheaper than anyone else when you factor in the shipping. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up 6 days after I placed the order. Today we decided to take the seat out and go ahead and get it installed. We open up the box and inside are the three plastic pieces and nothing else, no hardware was included to install it. I’ve sent them an email, they have no phone number listed to call. I hope they respond soon.

On the bright side we have set it in to see how it looks and its perfect for what we need. When we head off to Vegas we’re going to have a laptop, and a lot of camera equipment with us. We want to be able to take hikes and do touristy things with out having to carry to expensive stuff with us or worry about it being left in the car.

  • Tedd:

I’ve got a besttop add a trunk in my TJ, and it’s kind of so~so. It does work, but doesn’t fit that well. I think I”m going to ditch it and get a tuffy lockable storage unit – they are suppose to be the best. One thing that I really don’t like about these is that they make the fold and tumble rear seat pretty useless.

  • We originally looked at the tuffy storage units but didn’t want to spend the $$$ on one. We went for the cheapest option possible. We have the kids with us 99% of the time so whatever we bought would spend the majority of time collecting dust in the garage.
